Flickr is fantastic! Where else could I search pink library and get so many cool pictures? I set up an account, and then spent, literally, hours exploring. Since I did not have my own photos to upload yet, I looked at others with an eye to how I could use it in my classroom, and in the library. I find it a bit confusing in terms of copyright, sharing, creative commons, attribution..
I did learn that sometimes you can download/blog an image and sometimes you have to have a link to the image.
I have been trying to add links for the past hour and they are not working. It is 2:16 a.m. and I am going to sleep and dream about pink libraries. I will work more on this tomorrow.
Oh, I also figured out how to link my Flickr account and my blog, so I can blog directly from the Flickr site. I also connected to Mosaicr, but was stymied by the process. I will have to go back and spend more time. Not sure why I would want to make a mosaic anyway. I started saving my "faves" and organizing them into "galleries." I do read a lot of design blogs and I have noticed they often do these really great photo collages--I want to learn how to do that. I think it could be a great way to study a novel or topic. Create a photo collage or photo essay...

I liked all of your "color" libraries! Way cool! You could spend hours on Flickr and the associated mashups--and I agree that it is confusing as to what you can/can't do/share/use/etc. with other people's photos---copyright, creative commons,et al.
