Weeks 1 and 2

I am officially a blogger!

I set up my blog, registered my blog w/ CSLA and created an avatar! I am playing around with layout and trying not to obsess. I was so thrilled to get an encouraging response from Connie Williams of CSLA welcoming me to the fold! I feel like I am being welcomed into a club with all the cool kids. I must remember this feeling when I am assisting students in my classroom and in the library. Every time a student explores a new skill or concept and "gets it" to one degree or another, they must feel this way. It is breathtaking to think that soon, God willing and the creek don't rise, the library could be my classroom.
