A steep learning curve...

I just posted my "video" assignment on BeachBoard. I am vaguely dissatisfied with it. This tech stuff is very challenging. I am enjoying learning everything but I am waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone. I know the best way to learn these skills is to "play" and practice and spend time. I like doing that but at this point in my journey I am so focused on processes and steps and figuring out the basics that my content is kind of weak, kind of thin. It took me an hour to figure out how to get the audio to work and then I couldn't get it to sync up with the video. I trust that as my knowledge base and skills improve, the content will deepen and expand. That is the way it has been throughout my life in other areas, so I don't see why technology should be any different.

On a different note, I explored de.licio.us and Stumbleupon extensively, and learned a lot about social bookmarking and tags. The benefits of social bookmarking are becoming clearer to me. The access from any computer, the sharing, and the organizational structures are all great.
